Project R.E.D. Field Trip   Project RED was invited to attend the Amiskwaciy Academy for the International Day Against Racism conference on March 19th 2008. Amiskwaciy Academy is an aboriginal school and they will be hosting the event, which is sponsored by NAARR ( Northern Alberta Alliance on Race Relations). Last year the INternational Day Against Racisim was hosted at Ross Sheppard. You can go to http://www.naarr.org/ for more information. As well, you can check out the Amiskwaciy Academy's website at http://amiskwaciy.epsb.net/ We will be booking a van to take interested students, but we need to confirm numbers as soon as possible. This would be a field trip and you would miss Period 1 and 2 on Wednesday, March 19, which would be a Day B. You will have to notify your teachers and make sure you can catch up on missed assignments, as well as get permission from your parents or guardians.
