The was truly the "Battle of Edmonton" as AS Roma triumphed in the provincal playdowns in March 2009 in a hard-won contest with the Division 1 City Champion DFCA... truly the two best Div 1 teams in the province. This was demonstrated as the teams fought neck to neck to end regular pay with a 3-3 tie. AS Roma came through in the shoot out. (Well done boys. It will be and interesting season next year as both these teams move up into Premiere League. See ya then. /denis)
